In general, the Brasília Retreat Board provides a complete schedule of all retreats that will take place throughout the year. However, due to the current situation, we are deliberating on each retreat separately, month by month, to ensure everyone's safety.

Keep in mind that you can pay your registration fee in up to 2 installments.

Personal hygiene items such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste as well as sunscreen and insect repellent for the skin.

Caps or hats are useful for longer walks.

Warm clothing is also necessary, as it tends to get cold at night.

In times of strong sun or rain, it is advisable to bring an umbrella or parasol.

If possible, take a small bottle of water for your personal use, avoiding the use of disposable cups.

The retreat provides a set of bed linen and towels, a blanket and a pillow per person.

As is the case with other SRF retreats, we ask for your cooperation in maintaining an appropriate atmosphere for a spiritual retreat. Please wear modest and comfortable clothing. Long pants, shirts or blouses with sleeves, long skirts or dresses, and closed-toe shoes are recommended. If you wear leggings , you should wear long blouses or t-shirts. Avoid wearing perfume or nylon or tactel clothing, which makes noise when you move.

How to get there

  • You should take Highway BR – 020, which is in good condition, heading towards Formosa - Goiás, a city in the metropolitan region of Brasília;

  • At Km 33 of BR-20, turn right and follow the signs towards São Gabriel, on DF-345;

  • DF-345, entering Goiás, becomes GO-118. After Km 30, turn left at the white sign indicating: Fazenda São Francisco;

  • After 2.5 km of dirt road the entrance to the retreat will be on the right, Fazenda Retiro Paramahansa Yogananda;

  • It is approximately 95 km from the center of Brasília, with fully paved and well-signposted access.
